The significance of my work is important. This is a reaction to minimalist interior design type work. The more layers of meaning and resonance the better.
The largeness of my work is very important. This is NOT about size but may be about gesture and impact, detail and meaning. Works of art of wildly different kinds will always hold their own in varied company, so long as they punch their weight.
The difficulty seems to be to obtain strength and interest. Some black is probably necessary.

Work in series.
Paint like Beethoven.
Is mystery the answer?

Colour interpenetration across major geometries is generally good.

I am using an iterative process to nudge up to a finished work. Slow painting!
Wrestle with the beast. Is sketching documentation?
Mobilise the viewers imagination.
